in other news.... my Sea Monkeys have hatched! maybe i've found a pet that i can keep alive. wouldn't that be amazing?
school is going well. I'm taking a Printmaking class, Engineering 101, Precalc (again.... ugh), and a course on Ancient Greece. so far, all seem fairly interesting. frankly, the Prinkmaking and Greek classes are the best thus far, but who knows? things could get more exciting in.... er.... engineering.
speaking of post 300 AND my Greek class.... we're going to watch the movie "300" in class! the teacher says that it's mainly for laughs, but that it's interesting how they depict the Persians in the movie. i haven't seen it yet, so that's kind of fun.
what else, what else.... i need to get photos of my room up! it looks pretty good this year. well, except for right now- it's pretty messy. but once i've done laundry and located a digital camera.... woohooo! bedroom shots galore! (haha, that sounds kinky)
Anya is off to the Nellie McKay concert this weekend. i wish i could be there, but with the half a million things going on right now, she'll just have to make do without me :p nah, i'm sure she'll have a great time. if you haven't listened to Nellie McKay before, definitely make sure to find some of her music (that link will take you to her Myspace page- i recommend "Clonie")
ok, i gotta go drop some stuff off at someone's house, then drive Sam to the greyhound station.
OHH!! that reminds me- Sunday was Sam and I's 1 year anniversary! it was very nice. he brought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and we went out for a late lunch. such fun. Sam = awesome
right. off to the Greyhound station. cheers!
